Figs are one of Summer's true gifts and with a little drizzle of honey you're talking true bliss. This year Casa Pav's fig tree gave us an abundance of fruit; one of the best years yet. They were so sweet that honey wasn't really necessary. However, just a tad of golden sugar never hurt. Right? Any fig will do for this recipe. It's ridiculously easy, elegant and wondrous. Enjoy!
6 fresh figs
1 Tbsp honey
Slice figs in half lengthwise (stem to bottom). Distribute gently on small platter. Drizzle honey over each fig equally. Serve immediately. Yields 6 servings.
